All accidents must be reported and logged in the Accident Book, and any damage to property, clothing, or equipment must also be reported. All employees must take responsibility for their own health and safety, as well as that of their colleagues and the public. To achieve this, they must:
Understand their legal responsibilities for fire safety and workplace Health and Safety.
Cooperate fully with the Company to maintain high standards.
Never misuse or interfere with safety or fire equipment.
Wear or use protective clothing/equipment when required by the Company or by law.
Report any illness (such as stomach, skin, nose, or throat infections) that could be contagious, and notify management if they’ve been exposed to any foodborne diseases.
Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices immediately.
Maintain clean and hygienic personal and workspace standards.
Attend training sessions and follow all safety procedures.
Use correct lifting techniques at all times to prevent injury.
